Christopher Morrison - B Ag Sci., MBA
Prior to founding Lewis Tucker Chris spent over 20 years across two tenures at the Todd Corporation, during which time Chris headed the Corporate Development Team charged with the responsibility of originating, acquiring, managing and divesting assets in both New Zealand and offshore. Chris’ wider roles included oversight of strategy development, executing major transactions and proactively managing investments that required competence in senior governance roles. Chris also had 3 years at HRL Morrison & Co in the mid-90’s and as a graduate, worked in the horticultural export sector for PGG Wrightson’s.
Beyond providing oversight of Lewis Tucker, Chris is the Chairman of Veterinary Enterprises Group, a Director of FarmIQ, Regen NZ and Drylandcarbon Management. Chris also has pastoral farming interests in the Wairarapa.
William Leckie - Masters in Finance, B Com. Accounting and Commercial Law
Will joined Lewis Tucker in 2014 having worked for Todd Corporation in the Corporate Development team with Chris where he was a senior member of the team whose role included deal origination, execution, investment and sector analysis, strategy development, capital management and raising capital for investee companies in New Zealand and offshore. Prior to joining Todd, Will was at Summerset Group Holdings where he assisted Quadrant Private Equity restructure Summerset’s balance sheet and facilitated its successful IPO in 2011. This followed a graduate career with AMP Capital.
As a senior advisory professional and shareholder in Lewis Tucker, Will runs the Lewis Tucker team on a day-to-day basis. Will is also is a Director of Drylandcarbon Management.
Matthew Smith - Masters in Finance, Chartered Accountant, BCom, CFA candidate
Matt joined Lewis Tucker in 2017 having also worked for the Todd Corporation in the Corporate Development team where his role involved strategy formulation, sector analysis, deal origination and execution. Prior to Todd Corporation Matt worked in Transactional Advisory Services at Ernst Young.
Since joining Lewis Tucker Matt has led several advisory and transactional projects across a range of sectors including water storage and processing infrastructure projects. Matt’s competencies include debt financing, financial modelling, strategy and valuation advice, his depth of experience and academically disciplined approach is an important component of Lewis Tucker providing high quality advice.
Tom Wynne-Lewis - Masters in Finance,PGDip in Fin. Analysis, B Com
Tom joined Lewis Tucker in 2015 and completed a Master in Finance while working for the Company. Since joining Lewis Tucker Tom has led detailed investment and sector analysis, and provided strategic and analytical support for transactions and advisory mandates for a range of established and emerging primary sector asset classes.
Having grown up on a long-established family breeding and finishing property in Central Hawkes Bay, Tom’s rural background and passion for traditional agriculture, permanent horticulture and forestry provides a valuable bridge between corporate finance and grassroots agriculture.
James Harty - b com, llb, barrister and solicitor of the high court of new zealand
James joined Lewis Tucker in 2019 from KPMG Wellington where he worked in the Deal Advisory and Tax teams. During his time at KPMG James worked on numerous buy-side and sell-side assignments, undertook sector analysis, due diligence, and M+A advice across a range of industries.
James’s understanding and passion for agriculture coupled with a legal and tax background further strengthens Lewis Tucker’s client offering across a range of complex commercial issues.
Administration and Support
Brooke Sutton - BCom
Brooke joined Lewis Tucker in March of 2019 and is actively involved in the day-to-day management of Lewis Tucker as well as Lewis Tucker’s Drylandcarbon subsidiary where she assists with marketing and communications, document management and reporting.
Ginny Morrison - BCom
Ginny has been with Lewis Tucker since inception and manages the day-to-day accounting and payroll functions.

Executive Director - Drylandcarbon
Anthony has an extensive background in property valuation, investment, development and funds management having worked for more than 30 years in the investment and capital markets. Twenty of these years were with AMP Capital Investors, New Zealand’s largest investment management group, which included eight years as Head of Property responsible for over $3.5 billion in assets under management, mostly held in NZX listed vehicles but with a mix of wholesale, private development funds and joint ventures.
Originally registered as a dual urban and rural valuer, Anthony has a particular interest in farming, forestry and the agribusiness sectors, having personally developed viticulture and forestry properties in Marlborough, Anthony has a strong interest and extensive experience in corporate governance, and currently holds directorships in a number of large private and publicly listed companies.
He is a Fellow of the NZ Institute of Valuers, a Fellow and Life Member of the Property Institute of NZ, a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors in NZ, and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
